Art is Serious Play

It means diving into small details and figuring out the big picture. It is both work and mental rest. Art is life. Through my art, I create worlds that don’t exist and tell stories that cannot be put into words. In my sculpture art, I look for forms and surfaces through which the senses are stimulated and the body is evoked to movement. In my paintings, I try to capture small, meaningful everyday moments. While working, I get inspired about learning new things, combining different materials and studying the shapes found in nature.
